ProWorkflow has a longstanding relationship with LayeredTech. They are in our opinion the most professional, dedicated server facility we've come across. Here's some further info about LayeredTech, servers and account security.
Data & Account Security
All subscription accounts are separate installations on the server. All accounts use 128 bit secure certificates (HTTPS). Accounts use independent Microsoft SQL databases and all staff have privacy & confidentiality contracts in place. The accounts cannot be URL hacked and are hidden/excluded from search engines. No usernames or passwords exist in written or offline form.
The only access to the subscription servers is by remote desktop, restricted to ProActive Software's internal company IP addresses.
Backup Information
All account information is backed up every 6 hours to onsite servers. We also store rolling offsite backups so you can be sure that in the very unlikely event of an issue at our data center, your information is stored safely in a secure location.
In addition, we allow you to access a full SQL backup of your database at any time for either compliance or reporting purposes.

LayeredTech's Chicago data center is located in downtown Chicago. The 162,000 square-foot data center is one of Chicago's premier data centers. LayeredTech's Chicago data center was designed to meet the security, interconnection and power requirements of the world’s leading financial institutions.
The Chicago colocation facility also has direct access to 20 other carriers and service providers and LayeredTech's Internet exchange, Any2. The data center location has been at the heart of Chicago’s communications thoroughfare since 1919 when it was built by Western Union and significantly renovated in 1999 and 2007. As one of Chicago’s most connected data centers, many carriers and service providers also can offer easy access to network with other POPs at 111 N. Canal and 350 Cermak.
LayeredTech's Chicago data center is a great example of an urban redevelopment project. LayeredTech acquired the historic Western Union building in 2007 and completely redeveloped the lower level, the 1st and 3rd floors into world-class data center space.
The Chicago data center also has ample redundant AC and DC power, including the ability to cool the next generation hardware equipment used to support mission-critical trading applications.
